Forge Canada is lead by a team of missional practitioners from across the country, who are committed to strengthening the Church and seeing the Kingdom of God furthered.

Cameron Roxburgh

Cam Roxburgh, DMin, is the National Director for Forge Canada as well as the Team Leader of Southside Community Church in Vancouver, BC. He also serves as the VP for Missional Initiatives with the North American Baptists. He continues to have a passion for helping the church to join Jesus on mission in local contexts. He is the husband of one wife (Shelley) and the father of four kids. They live in Surrey, BC.

Karen Wilk

Karen Wilk, DMin, is a National Team Member leading our Neighbourhood Life initiatives and the Edmonton hub. She is also a Go Local Catalyser with Resonate Global Mission of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA). She is a neighbour, wife, mom, and pastor of NEW (Neighbourhood Engagement Workers’) Community. She has been a vocational pastor in Edmonton for over 30 years and has a Doctorate in Missional Leadership from Northern Seminary. Along with preaching and teaching in numerous places, Karen has written a number of books including Don’t Invite Them To Church: Moving From a Come and See to a Go and Be Church.

Merv Budd

Merv Budd was formerly the National Director of the Equipping Evangelists, a movement whose mission was to champion the role of the evangelist and enable them to equip the local church. He is also the Sr. Minister of North Burlington Baptist Church. He has served on the mission field in India and Nepal where he did open air preaching and literature distribution. He earned an M.Div. from Regent College during which time he helped to plant Southside Community Church. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children. Merv oversees our Ontario Hubs.

Aileen Van Ginkel

Aileen joined the Forge National Team our of her passion for seeing congregations and organizations thrive in their missional contexts. She has experience as a facilitator, trainer and coach – much of it gained through her work as Vice-President, Ministry Services with The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada – that she is putting to use with communities that want to integrate practices of communal discernment with ministry vision-casting and decision-making. Shawn C. Branch

Shawn has been involved in Christian ministry since his early 20s and was commissioned as an Evangelist in 2004. His passion in ministry is to see individuals released in their vocational calling and to be empowered to be agents of change in their communities. Licensed as an Evangelist in the Anglican Church, Shawn is committed to working with all denominations who are looking to strengthen their outreach and commitment to the Great Commission. Since January 2018, he has been serving as the parish development officer for the Diocese of Fredericton where his focus is on helping to mobilize congregations to reach out into their communities and help raise up innovative leaders for the church. Prior to this, he was the national director of an evangelistic organization from 2012-2017.
